At Bethel Baptist Church, we use the King James Version of the Bible. We believe it to be an inerrant translation of the Bible for English-speaking peoples.
We hold to the truth that God exists as a Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each are an equal part of this union.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Who took on a human form that He may die for the sins of the world. He is Creator and King of Kings over this world.
The Holy Spirit serves as a guide, comforter, and preserver to those who have believed in Jesus Christ for salvation.
Bethel Baptist Church is an independent group of believers. We are not affiliated with nor governed by any outside authority.
We are an Independent Baptist Church that is conservative in our world-view and stance. The Word of God is our final authority in all matters of the church.
We believe there is only one way of salvation - by faith and acceptance of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9)
Salvation is the gift of God to us and cannot be earned by good works. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5)
Salvation is an eternal and complete work at the point of realization of sin, and profession of faith in Christ to forgive the sin.
At salvation, the believer becomes a child of God and therefore a part of God’s eternal family. (John 1:12). This is confirmed by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:14-17) Salvation is referred to in Scripture on multiple occasions as both eternal and everlasting life.
